Moving to Vegas, one of the things I most wanted to do was to take a vacation in Vegas, not just be a local. I wanted to partake of what visitors experience whebn they come here.
Finally got around to it. Oh, so nice. Now I understand why people come to Vegas. :)
I picked a hotel on the strip, found a low price (very low) and booked a few days. Man, I felt so pampered and relaxed at the end of it. And the best part, to go back home, I jumped on a bus and went a mile away. Not having to plan a flight or deal with the hassles of travelling was the absolute icing on the cake.
By comparison, I looked up the cost to go elsewhere - and fleabag motels in LA cost MORE than uberluxury hotels in Vegas right now. Why go anywhere else for a Vacation, eh?
I must do this again.
