k a t e: keep gas in the back of your car at all times, even tho illegal

JPennant: I used to do the gas thing, but I got a crappy container that leaked fumes.
JPennant: so I stopped doin that
JPennant: what about matches? ;-)

rich: Just took some "blackout food" back to the supermarket for a refund - 4 containers of milk and 3 of ice cream

rich: It is when improperly refrigerated
rich: i.e., it was in the case when power went out, and they DIDN'T get rid of it!

rich: When the milk smells sour a month before its expiration date, you know it hasn't been kept cold...
JPennant: heh, thats a classic NY problem
JPennant: Milk would always spoil rapidly if kept out for longer than 10 minutes in NY, I guess cuz of the way theyre delivered. However, youre right..
rich: 3 days after a blackout, it's more like they didn't clean out...
