WordPlay in Rhyme
I love word play, when people twist the words around to make it more than the package.
Southern speak, East Coast flow, Diner Slang, the triple speak of Biggie Smalls, Prince - all lift my heart.
If you love wordplay as much as I do, listen to Louis Jordan's ode to Diner Slang "Blue Plate Special" or Rakim's "New York, New York".
But the late Big L's "Ebonics", now that was the shit.

This used to be a major streetcar and bus hub, partly because what is now the Potrero Hill Shopping Center used to be Seal Stadium, home to the San Francisco Seals Baseball Club, until 1957. Hence the baseball-themed Double Play Bar and Restaurant across the street.
Although still a major transit point, most of the buses now go to the electric buses yard in front of the historic KQED studios at Bryant & Mariposa, two blocks away.
