Today's horrorscope:
I'll keep that in mind today.
Cold logic is for math problems and science projects -- not for introducing new people into your life! The next time that you're stuck in a large social group with little warning, do not put up your guard and try to size people up before you open up. Walk into the room with your mind and heart wide open. It is time to let your warmth and compassion do the talking. They create and inspire much more interesting conversations than analysis and critical thinking ever could.
I'll keep that in mind today.

sensation of speed
Although Cable Cars officially have a top speed of only 9.5 miles an hour, unofficially - theyve been clocked up to 56 miles an hour as the skilled operators can hustle them along.
At night, the sensation of speed is heightened.
Parade of Ferrari's
This shoot made me realise I truly need a faster camera, the first time Ive ever overwhelmed the D50.
It also made me realise I need the quality long lens for shots like this.
So, Fuji S5 + Nikkor 70-200mm VR lens = $3500.
The Annual Big Mac
Once a year, I get the craving for a Big Mac.
Of course, one Ive inhaled the tiny hockey puck (trust me kiddies, 20 years ago - a Big Mac was once as big as a Whopper), and the taste of the secret sauces have faded - Im done for the year.

Today's horrorscope:
------------
My first few years in the Bay Area, I found out the climate of coastal northern California is perenially chilly, with wet winters, foggy summers. However, the days are invariably mild but jackets are a wise choice when the sun goes down.
San Franciscans tend to like that kind of weather. They call it "Air-conditioned". They actually bitch mightily if the temperature exceeds 82 degrees! Here, that constitutes a Heat Wave. I kid you not.
Myself, I like distinct seasons. Mild springs, hot summers, sharp Falls and chilly winters. Call me crazy.
And yet, as most of California has experienced an uncommonly warm winter and early spring, I find myself uncommonly sweating during this period in the low 70's. Ive even shed my jacket and wearing t-shirts as I find myself SWEATING in 70 degree weather!
Oh my lord.
Ive become a San Franciscan.
Just dont call me Frisco.
You make an important decision about a relationship. You feel what you feel — no need to justify or explain your logic. There's precious freedom in making friends with the truth.Let's hope it turns out well.
