I finally got me a days worth a sleep to the sound of the TV playing the movie 'Chicago'.
And in my dream, me and the Soul Mate went to see a musical, the name I knew but I forget now. She came, but ever so often - would ask me if I loved her, never quite believing the answer, but not leaving anyway.
She was different from when I first met her. Her hair was cut, and she was, very rapidly, losing her youthful looks. But, as always, she was still beautiful to me.
And I told her the truth in my dream. I'll always love her.
That will never change.
To me whats interesting, is that I dream of her at particular times.
Almost always at the point when I should be dreaming of the one Im with.
Interesting.

And when I woke up, the news was telling me..
The Chicago White Sox had played their first World Series Game since 1959..
And won.
Pinch me, Im dreaming.
At first, I thought I was hearing firecrackers ...

Catching the sights
This is actually fun to do.. ride in the cable car, catch the scenery and views.
The best way to do it is to get an all day pass and jump on and off if something catches your fancy. Best way to see the Cable Car route.
Girls of the winner's circle
JPennant: hey, take a look at these.. you think these are sellable as prints?
JPennant: http://www.flickr.com/photos/itinerant/sets/1146918/
McClint: the chick in the winner's circle would make a good one. I'm serious :-)
JPennant: *sigh* You REALLY think someone would buy a print of that?
McClint: hehehe well at least for a show
JPennant: ok then
McClint: looking at the cable car mechanicals... have ya ever done a mechanical theme of shots?
JPennant: no
McClint: gears, levers, pulleys.... in contrast to the modern words of transistors and capacitors
JPennant: hrm. Good idea
McClint: that pic just made me think of it
McClint: ::::::round of applause::::::::
McClint: excellent
JPennant: heheh :-)
Flaky biscuit from Saigon Sandwich
A fine example of the fusion of french and asian in Vietnamese food.
