What it's like:
It's like waiting for a train that you know you will be boarding, but you dont have a ticket. Yet you'd better be prepared to get on the train, because the all aboard call is coming and you will somehow have the ticket in hand by then.
-------------
This is my philosophy also:
This is a book Ive just started to read because Ive got to get rid of so many things. There comes a time for many things, and it didnt feel right to read this book before. Now, it feels imperative.
Sorta like reading Neil Gaiman's "American Gods" before I set out cross country 6 years ago. It was time.

This is my philosophy also:
"If you see a picture, you should take it -- period. It is difficult, if not impossible, to re-create a picture, so do not wait for it to improve. Sometimes it's better and you will take that picture also, but if you hesitate and don't click the shutter, you've lost the moment and you can't go back."
George Tames, New York Times photographer, quoted in Kenneth Kobre's book Photojournalism: A Professional's Approach.

38 Geary arriving
The busiest bus line in San Francisco. Its even the busiest bus line west of the Mississippi, with well over 50k riders daily. (Personally, I think that count is low, what with the amount of folk who board the bus from the back doors, San Francisco style.)
The best starter dSLR ever
What I keep telling people. Inexpensive, rugged, capable, great images out of camera, can use all of Nikon's lenses going back 30 years, handles any learning curve.
Then some go get a Canon Rebel instead. Duh.

This week's horrorscope sez:
And continues...
I can feel it in my bones.
It is important that you keep your options open this week. It is equally important that you don't let anyone pressure you into making any hasty decisions, especially where money is concerned. Action is not always the answer to every problem, nor is time as limited as it might seem. Think, think and think again.
And continues...
Whatever your age or current position in the world it is not too late to make a name for yourself. Cosmic activity on and around the midheaven angle of your chart will inspire you to aim higher and try harder this week. According to the planets fame and fortune figure prominently in your immediate future.
I can feel it in my bones.
