When I am sleeping well, I dream in stories. Outlined, structured with developed charactes, conflicts, themes.
I havent slept that well in years.
Still, I have a powerful urge to write - but that desire hasnt been matched with the actual writing. Maybe its a diminished attention span, deteriorated skills and having certain people checking up on what Im doing.
But in the recent years, the urge to write is coming back, partially fuelled by the desire to write to help my endeavors in business and photography.
This is a start.

Unfortunately, this was not mine
I sat in the supermarket playing my usual 2 dollars on nickel video poker.
The man walks into the gaming area, finished shopping with his shopping cart. Not bothering to even sit down, he put a five dollar bill into the video poker machine. It spat it back out. Sighing, he put it into the neighboring machine, which it accepted. Selecting the basic quarter Jacks or Better game, he hit deal on a five credit bet.
It gave him a Royal Flush. 4000 credits, or over $1000. On one deal.
I congratulated him, but yes, I was jealous.

Today's Horrorscope sez
Today's horrorscope sez:
It's time to start winging it again! Get back in touch with the unconscious or subliminal forces in your life, because they always push you in the right direction. Act on your impulses, not your conclusions. Right now, moving through your life without thinking too hard about what you are doing might not be such a bad idea. You are used to thinking things through -- and that is certainly wise. But moving forward on a project does not always require a detailed road map.
Wonder if I should take this one seriously?
