The volunteer at checkout fingered the book and opined:
"Mmm, I need a book like this."
"So do I. My New Years resolution was to get organised. It's now September and..."
"Hahaha. Nine months later.. "
"Yup. Sad."
The stereotypical Virgo is supposedly highly organized and neat. Heh, Im not, and most Virgos I know - highly intelligent and very capable, are not necessarily the most organised or neat folk around.
Then again, they dislike being stereotyped anyhoo.:)
Ive always disliked doing lists and putting stuff up. Just feels like a pain in the ass.
How do I go from slacker/slob to neat freak?
Is it even possible?
Hopefully, I'll actually read this book.
But I wouldnt mind a magic spell...
Hahaha. A 'sonic enema'. Yeah, a purging of the playlists and song collection would be good for the soul.
Ive got a shitload of Coldplay songs, from when an ex had her record collection on my laptop.
I .... just cant get into Coldplay, yo. They are like RadioHead. Ive tried. No physical or emotional response. Prime candidates for a sonic enema, right?
Oasis, i like. Green Day, sure. Liz Phair, I love.
And still, I havent removed the Coldplay. I dont know why. I sure wouldnt miss them.
I think Im trying to give them a chance.
On BART
Mother and daughter.
When I start complaining about how much sleep Im not getting, I should put things in perspective and see someone who is most definitely getting NO sleep raising a child.
Heh, it was cute as she dozed off, knocked out, her daughter was cooing, gently nudging her, simultaneously trying to get attention and yet now trying to wake her up.
Very cute. :)
Garlic Shrimp Plate

Travel Ad
- SF Chronicle
Cheap price for air & hotel and an iPod?
Yay.
Uh, wait - turns out the price is based on double occupancy and two airline tickets.
Didnt see that in any fine print anywhere.
No wonder they can afford to give away ipods.
Sunny in Frisco
Sunny in Frisco
I havent had many days of picture taking since July, but frankly, I just wasnt feeling it as the fog and overcast of the SF summer was sapping my spirits.
Yes, there have been days of sunshine.. but those have been days with PERIODS of sunshine, starting foggy and cold and ending the same. Plus, i live on the sunny side of the city - so I see clear skies with fog in the background. Unfortunately, I WORK on the foggy side of the city.
So, yesterday - after work, bright sunshine lit the city, so I walked home from work - taking pictures all the way.
