I, as a rule, will not take pictures of folk who are homeless or down on their luck.

Just wont do it.

I remember being out with a friend in New York back in 2000, and I gave her my camera. Then she said, itd be hilarious to take pictures of a homeless person.
"Hilarious"?
I verbalized my feelings and took the camera from her.

Lost a lot of respect for her then.

I HAVE taken pictures of folk who are homeless and down on their luck.

They all paid me for the prints.

Because, it was a thing of value.

Ive met some amazing folk on the streets.

No, im not going to write a book about it.
